InsureTech Named “Best Solution by a Partner” Finalist and “Best Use of XML” Finalist in Microsoft’s MEC Awards 2001 Program

Award winners to be Announced October 1st in Orlando, Florida

Lakeland, XXX, 2001 — InsureTech, an insurance and financial services agency / software developer since 1984, announced that the company has been named a “ Best Solution by a Partner” Finalist and “Best use of XML” Finalist at MEC 2001, the essential infrastructure planning and deployment conference in Orlando, Fla. The MEC 2001 Awards Program is based upon an innovative Microsoft Exchange 2000 solution the company developed for the insurance and financial services industry.  Finalists were chosen for their exciting products and solutions in 10 categories.  Winners will be announced October 1, 2001 in Orlando, Florida.

Best Use of XML:  This category is awarded to a solution, product, or service that positively impacted strategic business processes and extends the value of Exchange 2000 by the innovative and creative use of XML in and with Exchange 2000 to solve real business problems.

Insuretech earned this prominent recognition by delivering a Microsoft Exchange 2000-based solution for insurance and financial service companies.  The program is designed to facilitate collaboration and improve communications between departments and teams, enhance team productivity, and leverage existing corporate knowledge on all levels of the organization. The solution integrates workspace-oriented solutions for insurance and financial service organizations into a common environment via the Internet.
